As part of strengthening our understanding of the hydrogeological potential of the city of Mbujimayi (Kasai Oriental), a geophysical study was conducted at the Douze sites to enable the drilling of water wells aimed at improving the city's drinking water supply.
To better understand the behavior of the Mbuji-Mayi aquifer, we used geological and hydrogeological data, information from ongoing drilling and drilling (stratigraphic logs), and the results of the various surveys conducted.
