Abstract

The theme of inequalities in its entirety is one of the challenges that, since the dawn of time, all of humanity has barely overcome. The indigenous populations of the Democratic Republic of Congo, in particular the Twa pygmy people, often seen as vulnerable, are victims of excessive social but also spatial inequalities.

These actions taken against these populations have harmful consequences. Because the land represents everything to the indigenous people. It provides food, medicine, shelter, money et many other needs.

Faced with this existential conundrum, political will on the part of the Congolese State would be necessary in order to promote the equitable sharing of the DRC’s natural ressources and implement basic social measures to allow access for all the people Congolese to adequate medical care, to school, to positions of responsibility, etc. without any distinction.

To this end, this study makes an analysis of this very delicate question which is of less and less interest to public opinion and suggests some possible solutions which go in the direction, if not of eradicating more or less of mitigating the inequalities which indigenous peoples are victims.
