Improving the socio-economic and environmental conditions of teachers; work are important factors in attracting students to the pedagogical section and in perpetuating the teaching profession in our country. The objective of this study is to analyze the different reasons or causes of the decline in the number of students in the pedagogical section in secondary schools in Kinshasa and to verify its impact on the future of the primary school teaching profession in the Democratic Republic of Congo. It answers the questions according to which: -can the factors mentioned in this work be at the root of the decline in the number of students in the pedagogical section in secondary schools in Kinshasa? -Does the profession of primary school teacher in the Democratic Republic of Congo still hope for a bright future? Based on a rigorous empirical approach based on the survey method through the questions, documentary technic and content analysis.It appears from this study that poor socio-economic conditions (salary) and the working environment are the important factors that explain the decline in the number of students in the pedagogical section in some secondary schools in Kinshasa and this influences the future of the primary teaching profession in DR Congo.
