The circular economy represents a sustainable alternative to the traditional linear model, focusing on reducing, reusing, and recycling resources. Its adoption by Moroccan businesses relies on two crucial levers: governance and financing mechanisms. Sustainable governance and access to green financing play a key role in this transition, supported by appropriate regulations. This work focuses on the econometric analysis of governance levers and financing mechanisms in the adoption of the circular economy by Moroccan companies. Through multiple regression, the results show a positive relationship between these factors and the integration of circular practices, with a particularly significant impact of green financing and governance. However, obstacles persist, notably due to an insufficiently developed regulatory and financial framework. This study paves the way for future research, particularly on the impact of technological advances and international pressures, and highlights the need for a more favorable institutional environment to accelerate the transition to a circular economy.
