This article addresses the challenges in teaching English vocabulary in EFL (English as a Foreign Language) classes at the elementary level. It emphasizes that vocabulary acquisition is central to language learning, as it supports the development of the four key language skills. However, many teachers struggle to use appropriate materials and methods, resulting in limited vocabulary use among learners. The paper seeks to explore effective strategies to improve vocabulary instruction in realistic, communicative contexts.
