This article aims to analyze in depth the complex issues surrounding the shortcomings in voter rights protection in the DRC. Through a research-based approach, including case studies and expert testimony, we will examine the mechanisms in place to protect voter rights, while identifying gaps and challenges to be addressed. The objective is to provide a critical perspective on the current situation and to offer relevant recommendations for strengthening voter rights protection, thereby fostering a more inclusive electoral environment that respects democratic principles. In short, understanding the deficit in the protection of voters' rights in the Democratic Republic of Congo is essential not only to grasp the current electoral issues, but also to consider the prospects for democratic development and long-term political stabilization in the country.
