Abstract

This paper aims to analyze the determinants factors of the conflict between work and family life of women in Cameroonian enterprises. We use models to explain conflict situations, the main antecedents of which are both social and family-based.  The survey was conducted among 408 women in companies located in several regions of the country. The data collected was processed using exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses to construct the measurement instruments, and structural equation modeling to assess the causal relationships. The main results reveal the multidimensional nature of social antecedents, and their explanatory power as a determinant of work-family conflicts, in the same way as family factors.
